Although Ralph was born in New York he got to Houston as soon as he could. Ralph grew up in the Memorial area from the age of six and still resides close to Memorial Park. Ralph is happily married and recently had the joy of welcoming his young son, RJ, into the world.
Ralph’s philanthropic pursuits include being involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Houston as well as participating in many different charitable functions each year benefiting area organizations including schools, churches, and the fight against cancer to name a few.
Michael Chelvam
Michael joined the Manginello Law Firm in June 2007. Prior to that he spent a year clerking for Justice Eva Guzman on Texas’ Fourteenth Court of Appeals, where he handled both civil and criminal appeals.
In May 2006 he received his Juris Doctor Degree from The University of Notre Dame Law School. In law school he was a member of the Journal of Legislation and served as that Journal’s executive notes editor during his third year. During his third year of law school he also participated in his school’s public defender externship program where he helped represent indigent defendants.
Michael is a native Houstonian who graduated from the University of St. Thomas, magna cum laude, in May 2002 with a B.A. in political science. While there he worked at a number of different jobs and internships, ranging from an accounting firm, a law firm and a non-profit office, to gain experience and help support himself. In his free time Michael enjoys traveling, reading, exercising, and, of course, following Notre Dame football!
